Where to Dive?

Gili Trawangan, Air and Meno all three offer a selection of diving schools certified SSI and PADI.
If you would like to dive a specific site, you may want to check with the diving school which site they are covering.

I personally went diving on Gili Trawangan, as it was where I was staying. I have already been diving and started my certification with SSI so I looked up online for one of them.
I selected Manta Dive because of good reviews, just walked in and they nicely managed to book me last minute. I would recommend booking in advance though, they are really busy.
I did my Advanced course there, had a great time, instructors were super fun and I had awesome dives. Definitely, recommend it.

Who can Dive?

Diving is open for everyone, whether it is your first time or you are already experienced, you can find a wild range of courses at every diving schools that will suit your desire.
There are of courses some requirements (like being capable of swimming, not having ears issues…) but for the rest, you’re all welcome.

When is the best time to dive the Gili’s?

The tropical conditions of the Gili Islands offer good diving conditions all year long. Although the dry season, from May to September/October, offers a better visibility sea life.
